Concept development with hoops
Ask your toddler to:a. Sit in the middle of the hoop on the floor. Lift the hoop up high, then low to the ground.
b. Stand up, walk around the inside of the hoop. Walk around your hoop, one foot inside and the other foot outside.
c. Walk forward, then backward, around the hoop.
d. Stand in the center of the hoop on the floor. Rock from foot to foot (ticktocks).
e. Stand beside the hoop.
Step sideways into the hoop and out. Repeat each activity three to four times.
